These objects are not serial, but unique products. Their creation is articulated, to employ various passages.
Some items are spun on wheel, so later also carved manually and/or re-shaped, thinned when becoming harder, to be carved as wood. Some are totally hand made with coil technique and thinned, smoothed to an extreme, loosing the handmade feeling, allowing the matter drying till loosing its plasticity. Clays and glazes are experienced to avoid a regular finishing, to give to the object a rough and integral coating, so as, in a longer process, mineral elements composing stones. |
